Tips for successfully completing your application request for the Breaking Free Affiliate Program. Please read before starting the affiliate program application process.
1. Create your ThriveCart affiliate account
Username
Your email address will be your affiliate account username. You will receive an email from ThriveCart to confirm that your email address is valid. To activate your ThriveCart affiliate account and receive your log in password, click the button in that email.
Affiliate Id
Choose your affiliate id carefully because it CANNOT be changed!
- We strongly recommend you use your own name as this will reassure your buyers
- The ThriveCart system will check for duplicates
- If your choice of affiliate id has already been taken, consider adding a middle initial or a number to your name, e.g. yourname247
Social media presence
If you don’t use Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, you can leave any or all of those fields blank, but later on the application form, you will be asked how you intend to promote our products, and social media is important in any affiliate marketing campaign.
When you have completed the application
You will receive an email from ThriveCart to confirm your ThriveCart account details, your account is ready, and providing your password so that you can complete the application process.
- When your ThriveCart affiliate account has been set up, you can add a different business address and your VAT number for invoicing purposes
- You must link your PayPal Business Account for payment of affiliate commissions
2. The Approval Process
The affiliate program is closed which means approval is not automatic. Only those applicants with the right fit for our affiliate program will be approved.
Please allow time for us to manually check your details, your social media presence, and how you intend to promote our products. Within 48 hours, you will receive an email us with a decision. Note that ThriveCart will not send you an email to say your application is pending approval, but when your application is approved:
- All products/services approved for affiliate commissions will be added to your ThriveCart account (full list is in your ThriveCart affiliate account)
- ThriveCart will send your affiliate link by email
3. How to use your affiliate dashboard
Help for affiliate account holders from ThriveCart is described in detail in the welcome email we send to you immediately after approval.
Tips for getting started
Your affiliate link – Your affiliate link contains a unique lifetime cookie that the ThriveCart affiliate software can track. If your prospect clears their cookies, the ThriveCart software can no longer track this cookie.
Affiliate commissions are only paid when your prospects use your affiliate link. Because of your unique cookie, you will still receive affiliate commissions when your prospect buys any product/service in your affiliate account, even those that you may not have directly told them about! See example below.
How to get started
1. Choose one of our products/services to promote. You do not need to have taken any of our courses to be able to promote them!
2. Create your promotional materials – Feel free to use content from our sales pages, newsletters, and social media posts.
3. Include your affiliate link in your promotional material – Affiliate commissions are only paid when your prospects use your affiliate link.
4. As long as the prospect uses your affiliate link and the product they purchase is on the approved commission list, the ThriveCart software can track the cookie and you will receive the relevant affiliate commission.
Example:
a) You actively promote our Men’s Image training course
b) A prospect browses our website and purchases Colour Analysis Training in a Box instead
c) You still receive the affiliate commission relevant to the product purchased
5. You may wish to incentivise your prospects to buy our products/services by offering them a bonus, e.g., your eBook, access to your private podcast, a discount off one of your own products/services. To do this, you can add your own bonuses and set them up in your affiliate dashboard.
Payment of affiliate commissions
Currently, we pay 50% affiliate commission on all our professional training courses, collections, and resources and the full list is in your ThriveCart affiliate account.
Payment is made to your PayPal Business Account 30 days after the sale.
